I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1997 and became a Board-Certified Music Therapist in 1998. I began practicing as a Doula in 2003 and became a Certified Doula through Doulas of North America (DONA) in 2005. Currently, I assist births in Appleton, the Fox Cities, Neenah/Menasha, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac (and surrounding areas). I have attended births at several hospitals including St. Elizabeth's, Theda Clark, Mercy Medical Center, Aurora - Oshkosh and St. Agnes and am excited for the opportunity to attend my first home birth in October!
Personal:
I'm married and have two children and a black lab. I also teach piano lessons, music classes at a daycare center, and direct two choirs.
I feel that it is an honor and a priviledge to be a doula and I make it my personal goal to help you achieve your ideal birth and have a positive birth experience!
